Autism Awareness Month

April is Autism Awareness Month. Part of that awareness is understanding what it is. ASD is a very complex neurological disorder that effects the nervous system and glial cells of the body. With a weakened nervous system, the child's detoxification pathways are then affected. The child can not properly eliminate the environmental toxins that surround us each day. Asperger syndrome is often classified as a "high functioning" state of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). There is no single cause for Asperger’s/Autism. Genetic issues, Physical traumas in utero, and/or environmental exposures all may play a role. Many noticeable symptoms can occur after the age of three. The most apparent symptoms are listed below.

For the Parents

Awareness is key in helping your child. If your child has a few of these symptoms that does not mean he/she is on the ADS Spectrum, but they may have a toxicity issue that is affecting their nervous system. Sadly, many high functioning children do go undiagnosed and never get the proper treatments to aid development. The proper steps can then take place in getting them the best aid with socialization and setting them up to grow into independent adults. Furthermore, if your child has been diagnosed, it can come as a shock to a parent and much shame and embarrassment can be held around it. Parents often question what they could have done differently or what they did wrong. It's important to drop the shame and blame and move forward into acceptance and taking action. Acceptance of what is can help parents start moving forward and getting the proper aid for their child. The parents can then help family and friends understand the diagnoses and get the loving support that is needed.

What To Do

Our food and our environment is not what it use to be. The amount of toxins/heavy metals in daily things all around us continues to increase each year. By nourishing your child's brain and nervous system with the right foods, you can aid your child’s language skills and development. Along with dietary changes, bioenergetics therapy is safe and effective at increasing your child’s mitochondria to aid in cellular detoxification of heavy metals and unwanted pathogens that may be within your child intestines, brain hemispheres, and vital organs.
